Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department has been established with the vision for better service delivery.It has been built a dynamic organization which is a beautiful blend of traditional Govt. process to modern service paradigm.Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) delivers quality healthcare services to the community through an efficient and effective service delivery system that is accessible, equitable, culturally acceptable, affordable and sustainable. P&SHD aims to improve the health and quality of life of all, particularly women and children, through access to essential health services. THQ Hospital Mian Channu was constructed at 34 Canal Area in 1986 with a capacity of 40 Beds latter on upgraded 60 beds. Hospital provides 24-hour services 7 days a week to facilitate the urgent requirements of the patients. It is attached Population is about 7.6 Lakh. Urban Population 122,116.
